William was born in Chatham-Gore and was a son of the late Thomas and Sarah (Wise) Knight.

Beloved husband of Jeanne (Dawson) Knight.

Loving father and father-in-law of Linda (Randy) Olah, Bill (Marilyn) Knight, Judy (Paul) DeMars, Jerry (Jean) Knight, Lorraine Reid.  Predeceased by his son Gord Knight.

Sadly missed by his grandchildren Stacey, Steve, Jeff, Bob, Kelly, Paul, Barb, Jason and Chad and 19 great grandchildren.

Kind brother of Laura (the late Jack) McCallum, brother-in-law of Madeline McQueen, Helen Dawson, Mary Jane Dawson and Audrey Dawson.

Predeceased by his sister-in-law Dorothy and his brothers-in-law Bill, Lorne, Harry and Gordon.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 10- 11 a.m. with the Funeral Service immediately following visitation at 11 a.m. all from the Chapel of the Funeral Home.  Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg
