Mr. William Kennith "Kenny" Day a resident of Walpole Island First Nation passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at Home at the age of 68 years.

Kenny was born in Wallaceburg, and was a son of the late Alfred and Angeline Day.

Beloved husband of the late Ruth LaMarsh-Day.

Loving father of Brandon Day, Carrie (the late Will) Durance, Tammy LaMarsh, Mary Nahdee and the late William "Didley" Nahdee.

He will be sadly missed by several grandchildren.

Kind brother of Archie, Dave, Mike, Crystal, Mitchell and Linda. Predeceased by his siblings Ira, Freda, Louis, May and Lila.

He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Kenny loved family meals, he enjoyed getting together and playing euchre. He would always be out driving his truck around when he could. Kenny was always watching over everyone in his life like his favourite bird the eagle.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home.

following Kenny's wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

There will be fire lit on Walpole Island in his memory the day of his celebration.
