Mr. William Kenneth Joseph "Bill" "Smokin Joe" Bechard passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at the LHSC "University Campus" in London, at the age of 55 years. He was born in Wallaceburg and was a son of the late Rene Bechard(survived by Cecile Leveille) and the late Sandra (nee McGill) (survived by Ken Wilson). Loving father of Brandi (Sean) Boivin and William "Bill" Bechard. Dear grandfather of Brennen, Jenna, Daeneira, Blaze and Rylee. Great grandfather of Kylie and Nevaeh. Kind brother of Rene "Toot" Bechard, John Bechard, Kelley Bechard and Dave (Jenny) Bechard and brother-in-law to Egon Messner. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Bet Messner. Cremation has taken place and a memorial visitation will take place at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 6-9pm. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the LHSC "Transplant Unit" may be left at the funeral home.
