Mr. William "Bill" Burnett, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at the age of 77 years. He was an avid fan of all the Chicago sports teams, loved reading the Toronto Star and enjoyed fishing in the Sydenham River. Son of the late Jack and Jean (Colwell) Burnett. Kind brother and brother-in-law of John Burnett, David (Lu) Burnett and Mary (Mike) Stanko. Beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. The late Bill Burnett is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home (639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg, 519-627-2861). Cremation has taken place and a private family interment of the ashes will take place at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Hospice Niagara may be left at the funeral home. Special thanks to Brian, his driver, for all the rides to the cancer treatment center in London.
