Obituary

Mr. William James Countryman, a resident of Sarnia, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Afton Park Place, Sarnia, at the age of 87 years. He was born in Chatham, Ontario and was a son of Francis and Lydia (Moore) Countryman. Beloved husband of Marjorie (Harmer) Countryman. Loving father and father-in-law of: Robert and Linda of Wilkesport and Nancy and Francois of Wallaceburg. Sadly missed by his grandchildren: Billie-Ann and Jason. Predeceased by a daughter, Billie-Anne and nine brothers and sisters. The late William Countryman is resting at the Eric. F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin Street, Wallaceburg. Friends will be received on Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 6-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 3, 2010, at 1pm, from the chapel of the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Legion Poppy Fund may be left at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at ericfnichollsfuneralhome.com. As a living memorial a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of William Countryman.
