Mr. Wilbert Ernest Willy Momney, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the age of 96 years. He was born in Tilbury Ontario and was a son of the late Peter and Sophie (Bordeau) Momney. Beloved husband of the late Viola (Rodgers) Momney. Loving father and father-in-law of Harvey Momney of Florida, Geraldine (Dennis) McFadden of London, Marline (John) Blake of Sarnia and Arline (Pat Hagen) De Moor of Wallaceburg. Sadly missed by 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers Joe, Fred, Harvey, Ed, his sisters, Bertha, Rose, Jenny, an infant sister and a grandson Michael. Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg, on Monday, July 12, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 11am. Fr. Greg Bonin, officiating. Interment in Riverview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home.
