Mrs. Violet Vande Velde, of Wallaceburg, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance at the age of 89 years. She is a daughter of the late Peter and Florence (Millward) Bradley. Beloved wife of the late August Vande Velde. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Irene (the late Russ) Carson, Peter (Sandy) Vande Velde and Randy (Julie) Vande Velde. Sadly missed by her 10 grandchildren , 13 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Kind sister of Arthur Bradley and the late Eric Bradley and Peter Bradley. Kind sister-in-law of Modest (Evelyn) Vande Velde. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Salvation Army may be left at the funeral home. As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in Memory of Violet Vande Velde.
