Obituary

Mrs. Violet Pearl Chauvin, a resident of Trillium Villa, in Sarnia, and formerly of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 12, 2010 at Bluewater Health Hospital in Sarnia at the age of 79 years. She was born in Otterville, Ontario and was a daughter of the late Robert and Myrtle (Johnston) Parkes. Beloved wife of the late Rosaire Chauvin (2003). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Tammy Lathier of Wallaceburg, Cindy Chauvin of Alberta, Dell and Barb Chauvin of Sarnia, Mark and Karen Chauvin of Sarnia, Neil and Elizabeth Chauvin of Windsor, Kelly and Yvonne Chauvin of Dresden and Kevin and Kathy Chauvin of Wallaceburg. Sadly missed by 21 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Kind sister and sister-in-law of Jean and Ray Trudell of Chatham, Marion and Ralph Chauvin, Willaim and Joyce Parkes, Roy and Marie Chauvin, and Jim and Dale Chauvin all of Wallaceburg. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a granddaughter Chantal, an infant great grandchild, a sister Ella and a brother Pete. The late Mrs Chauvin rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg. Cremation has taken place with interment of ashes in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Alzheimers Society may be left at the funeral home. A tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Violet Pearl Chauvin.
