Mrs. Verna Dorothy Rabideau a resident of Wallaceburg passed away on Friday , September 16, 2011 at Fairfield Park, in Wallaceburg at the age of 95 years. Verna was born in Chatham and was a daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth (Rushmore) Goldsmith. Beloved wife of the late Harry R. Rabideau. Dear mother of Robert "Bob" (Marlene) Rabideau, Ray (Henny) Rabideau, Beth (John) Descouteaux, Ruth (Norm) Bradshaw, Eva (Gary) Winsor, Cathy (Dick) Mikhaila, Marilyn (Jack) Kemp and Dannette (Rory) Goulding. Sadly missed by 28 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by three grandchildren, Kim Rabideau-Teuma, Brian Hooper and Adam Bradshaw. and Two great grandchildren Sarah and Nettie-Lynn. Kind sister of the late Arthur (Edith), Daniel (Ada), Ruth, Marguerite (James), Lily (Charlie), Bessie (Gene) and Ivy (Charlie). She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Monday, September 19, 2011 from 7-9 pm. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2011 from Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle at 11:00 am with Pastor Larry Hutchins, Officiating. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.
