Mrs. Theresa Elizabeth "Betty" Lumley, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, "Sydenham Campus", in Wallaceburg, at the age of 81. Betty was born in Chatham and was a daughter of the late Julien and Henrietta (Longbottom) Declerk. Beloved wife of Ron Lumley. Loving mother of: Rick (Judy), Craig (Linda), Bonnie Decan (Robert) and Vickie Brown. Sadly missed by 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Kind sister of Mary Declerk and Marjorie Tetreault. Predeceased by a sister, Louise and a brother, Jack. The late Betty Lumley is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Cremation will follow with a private family interment to take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association may be left at the funeral home.
