Mrs. Theodora Boeyen, of Wallaceburg, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at the age of 83. Theodora was born in Gedlrop, Holland and was a daughter of the late Petrus and Walthera (Van Gerwen) Donkers. She was a 10 year member of the Our Lady Help of Christians, Catholic Women's League. Beloved wife of the late Peterus "Piet" Boeyen (1997). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Diana & Dan Donkers, Bernita & James Colby and Peter Boeyen. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Matthew, Petrina, Meghan, Rebecca, Brandon, Joel and Jenna. Survived by two sisters of Annie and Mein, both of Holland. Predeceased by three sisters Elizabeth, Helena, Johanna, and two brothers Adrianus and Frits. Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, Tuesday, June 21, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, June 22, 2011 from Our Lady Help of Christians Church, at 10:30 am, with Fr. Greg Bonin, Celebrant. Parish Prayers at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 3 :30 pm. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation may be left at the funeral home.
