Mr. Stewart John , a resident of W alpole Island, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 at the age of 63.

Stewart was born in Wallaceburg and was a son of the late Russell John and Vera Ackley.

Loving father and father-in-law of Jacinda and Peter Williams.

Sadly missed by his grandchildren Kaya, Aurora and Athena.

Kind brother of Lawrence (Nora) John, brother-in-law of Rosa Girimonte.

Predeceased by his brother Claude John and his sister Claudine John.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Stewart graduated from Wallaceburg District Secondary School, worked in construction on both road crews and house crews, was an excellent pool player and was a member of W.I.F.N. He spent some of his working life in the U.S.A. before retiring to Walpole Island.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 2 p.m. from St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Walpole Island, with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Interment to follow in Highbanks Cemetery, Walpole Island .

As an expression of sympathy, donations to Sick Kids Foundation may be left at the funeral home.
