Mrs. Stella Ursula Cartier, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Fairfield Park, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 91 years. Stella was born in Chatham and was a daughter of the late Frank and Bella (Primeau) Charron. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Cartier (1997). Loving mother of Ron (Nelly) Cartier, Diane (Joe) Lucier and Gary (Susan) Cartier. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Stacey (Craig) Ritchie, Jason (Amber) Lucier and Jeff (Meaghan) Lucier and her great grandchildren Kyra, Kayleigh, Kalista, Wesley and Alexys. Predeceased by a sister Gertrude and a brother Real. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 2-5 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, December 13, 2013 from Our Lady Help of Christians Church, in Wallaceburg, at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Greg Bonin, Celebrant. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Holy Family Roof Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation may be left at the funeral home. As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in Memory of Stella Cartier.
