Mr. Stanley Flynn, a resident of Sombra, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 90.

Stanley was born in Wallaceburg and was a son of the late Edward and Mary (Larsh) Flynn.

Beloved husband for 70 years of Rosalie "Rose" (Bogaart) Flynn.

Loving father of Sandra (David) Sharpe, Marilyn (Remi) Bulckaert and Cherie Flynn.

Sadly missed by his grandchildren Chris (Carrie), Wendy (Frank), Alex (Heather), Beny (Shelly), Beth (Cory), Tiffany and his great grandchildren Timmy, Tommy, Nick, Spencer, Lily, Sophie, Jack, James, Johnny, Krista, Madison, Carter, Brenden and Eliza.

Kind brother of Roger (Sandra) Flynn and Deanna (the late Joe) Segeren.

Predeceased by his brothers Norman, Johnny, Darcy, Nelson, Donald and his sisters Elizabeth, Elda, Beatrice, Eva May, Rita and Shirley.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Stanley worked at the Wallaceburg Brass for 17 years before he began his own farming business.  He will be remembered for his hard work, dedication and passion for farming.

Following his wishes, cremation will take place.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Sacred Heart Church, in Port Lambton, on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 12 noon with visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the church, prior to the funeral mass.

Interment will follow from Riverside Cemetery, Sombra, Ontario.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Lung Association or the Alzheimer's Society may be left at the funeral home.
