Mrs. Shirley Pearl (Laprise) Shephard , a resident of Wallaceburg , passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Fairfield Park, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 92.

Shirley was born in Windsor and was a daughter of the late Ameddie and Josephine ( Mulholland ) Laprise.

Beloved wife of the late Bertram " Ray " Shephard (2006).

Loving mother and mother-in-law of Barbara (the late Morris) Vercauteren of Wallaceburg , Linda Shephard of Wasaga Beach , Wayne (Denise) Shephard of Wallaceburg, the late Debbie Shephard (2010) and Tom Trembley (partner of Debbie).

Sadly missed by her grandchildren Jodie (L e mont ) Burden, Jeff (Wendy) Vercauteren and Michelle (Bob) Lalonde , step grandsons Pete (Michiko) Van de Veire, Mike (Sabrina) Van de Veire and her great grandchildren Jarrett & Devin Giardino , Nathan, Jeremy and Corey Vercauteren, Holly (Cody) Gregory , Cody Lalonde , step grandmother of Bailey Druer and Philip & Patrick Van de Veire. Great great grandmother of Hailey Jade Giardino.

Kind sister of Don (Margery) Laprise.

Predeceased by her brothers Vernon Laprise, Bill (the late Jean) Laprise, her sisters Elaine (the late Cecil) Lumley, June (the late Bob) Verbeem and Lola (the late Marcel) Punnewaert.

Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday , August 20, 2016 from the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with Joyce Philp , Officiating.

Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg .
