Mrs. Shirley Hyatt, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Fairfield Park, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 81.

Shirley was born in Wallaceburg and was a daughter of the late Orval and Evelyn (Lucier) Simpson.

Beloved wife of the late Charles "Charlie" Hyatt.

Loving mother of Carrie (Alan) Rose, Dave (Anita) Hyatt, Dwayne (Jane) Hyatt, Connie (Bret) Wismer and Darren Hyatt.

Sadly missed by her grandchildren Adam, Courtney, Casey, Jeremy, Yohanna, Heidi, Levi, Nathan, Kyle, Kelsey, Jamie and 19 great grandchildren.

She is survived by a sister Doris Kelly.

Predeceased by her brothers Fred (the late Mabel) Simpson, Wes (the late Kate) Simpson, Herb (the late Sue) Simpson, Harold (the late Jean) Simpson, Mary Jane (the late Karl) Ripley and her brother-in-law Joe Kelly.

The late Shirley Hyatt rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.  Following her wishes, cremation will take place.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. from Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Wallaceburg, with the Funeral Mass immediately following at 11 a.m.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Catholic Women's League may be left at the funeral home.
