Ms. Sherry Alane Deacon, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011 with her family by her side after a year long battle with cancer at the age of 66. Sherry was born in Wallaceburg and was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Eileen (Rose) Caron. Loving mother of Gerald (Gerry) Deacon, Sandra Cook, both of Wallaceburg, Vincent of Ottawa, Michelle Perreault of Chatham and Annette of Clinton. Kind sister of Charlotte & Doug Lambert, Deanna & Bill Hudson, Kathy May Caron, Sheldon & Deb Caron, Michael Caron, all of Wallaceburg, Bonnie & Gerritt Henderkinson of Chatham, and Henry of Woodstock. Sadly missed by 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, her Uncles and Aunts: Don & Vicky Rose of Wallaceburg, Bob & Monica Caron of Strathroy, Julie Caron of London, Betty & Leo Beaudeautte of Hammer and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by 2 grandchildren and a sister, Shirley Currie. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, (519 627 2861). A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of the funeral home with visitation one hour prior to the service from 12 to 1 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home.
