Ms. Ruth Nantais, of Wallaceburg, passed away, on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus, in Chatham, at the age of 69 years. Ruth was a daughter of the late Gordon and Grace (McKenzie) Ball. Beloved Mom of: Kim Nantais & companion Theresa, Kelly Nantais, Kris Nantais & wife Debra, and Kari Parker & husband Scott. Loving Gramma of Chad, Jeremy, Jason, Amy, Kristine, Kelisha, Justin & Jake Nantais, Bradley Parker, Trevyr & Avery Whelan and Great Gramma of Clair Gough. Dear sister of Carolyn Sawyer & husband Carl. Predeceased by a brother, Jack Ball & sisters: Norma VanderVeeken and Betty Decan. The late Ruth Nantais rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg, until Saturday, March 6, 2010 when a private Family Service was held, in the chapel of the funeral home, at 11am. Interment was in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy donations to The Lung Association may be left at the funeral home.
