Mr. Russell Alan Griffith , a resident of Chatham , passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the age of 56.

Russell was born in Chatham and was a son of the late Harold and Norma ( Brown ) Griffith.

Loving father of Elisha (Jared) Nissen and Jaclyn (Mike Willimot) Griffith.

Sadly missed by his grandchildren Ethan, Shianne, Noah and Dylan.

Kind brother of Diane Watson.

Dear uncle of Jennifer, Josh, Heather and Greg.

Predeceased by his daughter Kristen and a sister Sharon Tetrault.

Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held Monday , February 29, 2016 from Knox Presbyterian Church , in Wallaceburg, at 11:00 a . m .  Cremation will follow with the Interment of ashes to be held at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the March of Dimes or Police Foundations may be left at the funeral home.

As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Russell Alan Griffith .
