Mr. Ronald Van Wolde, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013 at the age of 72 years after a hard fought and courageous battle with cancer. Ronald was born on January 5, 1941. Loving husband and best friend of Brenda (Restemeyer) Van Wolde. A very special and dedicated Dad to Jody (John) Campbell and Mark (Lisa) Van Wolde. A proud grandfather to Ben and Madeline Campbell and Ryan and Jordan Van Wolde. The late Ronald Van Wolde rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. To celebrate Ron's life, a private family service will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the C.C.A.C. Palliative Care Consultation Team, Trinity United Church or the Sydenham Field Naturalists - Peers Wetlands may be left at the funeral home.
