Mr. Ronald Mark "Ron" Vantomme, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2016 at the Chatham-Kent Hospice at the age of 54 years. He was born in Wallaceburg and was a son of the late Etienne and Connie (Morasse) Vantomme. Dear father of Mike (Teri) Vantomme, Tara (Rob) Vantomme, Tanya (James) Vantomme, Tabitha (Brad) Vantomme and Tasha Vantomme. Loving grandfather of Kalan, Mya, Jaxon, Taliyah, Zachary, Skyla, Chase, Conrad, Aaliyah, Starlyn, Leland, James Jr., Jaida, Nevaeh, Tristen, Jakobe and Faithlyn. Kind brother of Michelle (Denis) Harvey. Kind uncle of Brian and Kelly.

Visitation will take place from 2-5 p.m., from the funeral home, on Saturday August 6, 2016. A funeral service will follow visitation and take place at 5 p.m. Cremation will follow and the interment of ashes will take place in Riverview Cemetery at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Chatham Kent Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home.

As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Ron Vantomme.
