Mr. Roland Joseph Yvan Richard, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, "Public General Campus", in Chatham, at the age of 76 years. Roland was born in Quebec and was a son of the late Adalbert and Mary Anne Richard. Beloved husband of Jacqueline (Savard) Richard. Loving father of Ivon Richard and Roberto (Helen) Richard. Dear grandfather of Ashley, Shaylyn, Robert and Jennifer and great grandfather of Liahm. He is predeceased by 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Sadly missed by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. As per Roland's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 9, 2015, at 2 p.m., from Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home. As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in Memory of Roland Richard.
