Mr. Robert Roelans, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, "Sydenham Campus", in Wallaceburg at the age of 80. He was born in Wallaceburg and was a son of the late Edward and Cornelia (Ebert) Roelans. Beloved husband of the late Eliza (Van Ruymbeke) Roelans (1998). Loving father of Kathy (Andy Howell) Roelans, Cindy (Daniel) Bechard and Kevin (Linda) Roelans. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Bradley Furtah, Josh Roelans and Chelsea Roelans. Kind brother of Margaret (the late Soloman) Dielman and the late Leon (Clara) Roelans. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 31, 2011, at 10:30 a.m., from Holy Family Church, Wallaceburg with Fr. Greg Bonin, Celebrant. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Charity of Your Choice may be left at the funeral home.
