Mr. Robert "Bob" John Thompson, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, surrounded by his family, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, "Sydenham Campus", in Wallaceburg, at the age of 68.

Bob was born in Windsor, Ontario and was a son of the late Harold and Margaret (Turner) Thompson.

Beloved husband of Diane Thompson.

Loving father of Jeff (Jeremy) Thompson.

Best friend of Gord Demers who is like a brother to Bob.

Sadly missed by the family dog, Pebbles.

Kind brother-in-law of Arlene (Ric) Foster, Darlene (Mike) Foster and half brother of Carol Churchill, Dorothy Wilson, Norm (Brenda) Wilson and Wayne Wilson.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He really enjoyed boats and cars and the annual Wambo event in Wallaceburg and also enjoyed watching You Tube.

Following his wishes, cremation will take place.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Humane Society may be left at the funeral home.
