Mr. Randy George Deschamps, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the London Health Science Centre, "Victoria Hospital", London at the age of 61. Randy fought a long battle against ITP and IGA Nephropathy. Randy was born in Chatham and is a son of Arthur and Geraldine (Rabideau) Deschamps. Beloved husband and soul mate of Cheryl (Smith) Deschamps. Loving father and father-in-law of Randi & Mike Hull of Wallaceburg, Chad Deschamps and Dawn Charron of Wallaceburg and Kylie & Dan Coffin of Dresden. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Sara, Amy, Kamryn, Rhyan, Mikayla, Abigail, Jaxson and eagerly awaited the arrival of his new grandchild. Kind brother and brother-in-law of Bonnie & Joe Everaert, Becki Deschamps, Val & Richard Walter, Pat & Deb Smith, Linda & Dave Swain, Connie & Steve Hawke, Carol Woodcock, Bob Smith, Janice & Mike MacKinnon and Glen Smith. Also sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother-in-law Donna Smith and father-in-law Pat Smith.. Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Thursday, June 16, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 17, 2011 from Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Wallaceburg at 11:00am, Fr. Greg Bonin, Celebrant. Cremation will follow.
