Mr. Peter Gordon Wellman, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at the age of 66.

Father of Amber Wellman and grandfather of Dash.

Brother of Joyce (the late Dale, 2018) Cracknell and the late Joseph Wellman (1978).

Peter was born in Chatham and was a son of the late Joseph and Muriel (Denning) Wellman.

Uncle of Chad (Kelley), Jocelyn (Bruce) and Lacey (Adam), J.J. (Tosha), Jason (Cherry) Stacey (David) and great uncle of Aidan, Meghan, Xander, Laura, Eric, Lily, Tyler and Carrie.

Step-father of Dell Chauvin Jr., Dell's children Holly, Tiffany, Mitchell, Hannah, Maddy and Jerry (Liza) Chauvin, their children Dylan, Ryan, Kamron, Jayce and Ella.

Survived by special cousin and friend Chris Wellmen and family and many other cousins.

The late Peter Wellman rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.

Following his wishes, cremation will take place.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Lung Association or the Humane Society may be left at the funeral home.
