Mrs. Norma Richie, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at the age of 74 years. She was born in Sombra Township and was a daughter of Sheldon and Mary (Abrams) Armitage. Beloved wife of Richard Dick Richie. Loving mother and mother-in-law of: Sherry & Bob Ameriault, Sheldon & Kim Richie, Tina & Fernando Vilaranda and Les Densmore. Sadly missed by her grandchildren: Amy, Chris, Shaun, Heather, Stephen, Matthew, Alex, Ashley, Brandon and her great grandchildren: Landon, Abbie, Cole, Bronson and Hailey. Kind sister and sister-in-law of: Ellen Brown, Barbara Armitage, Corrie Armitage and Marie Richie. Predeceased by a daughter, Kim Densmore, a grandson, Kevin and two brothers: Ken Armitage and John Armitage. The late Norma Richie is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St.. in Wallaceburg. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held, in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, August 1, 2009, at 3pm, with Rev. Brian Horrobin, Officiant.
