Mr. Melvin "Buck" Hanson, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at the age of 79.

Melvin was born in Wallaceburg and was a son of the late Don and Mabel (Mitchell) Hanson.

Beloved husband of the late Nancy (Demers) Hanson.

Loving father of Jason "Jake" (Tracy) Hanson and the late Jeffrey Hanson (2022).

Sadly missed by his grandchildren Brooklyn (Justin) and Mikayla (Jacob).

Kind brother of Sharron (the late Hugh), Marilyn (Mike), Shirley (Jim) and brother-in-law of Terry (Dave).

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Friday, June 9, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.  The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11 a.m. from First Baptist Church, Wallaceburg.

Cremation will follow.

Interment of ashes in Riverview Cemetery on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 12 noon.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to First Baptist Church Community Meal may be left at the funeral home.
