Mrs. Maxine "Gwen" Belanger passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, in Orillia, Ontario at the age of 74. Gwen was born in Chatham and was a daughter of Carson and Pearl (Portter) Jinkerson. Beloved wife of Bernard "Bernie" Belanger. Loving mother of Fil, Carl, Irene, Eddie and Holly. Sadly missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Kind sister of Andy, Peggy, Sam, Addie, Danny, Beaty, Gerry, Betty, Sandy, Nelly and Dorothy. Predeceased by two siblings Walter and Mickey. Cremation will take place. Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Thursday, November 27, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 28, 2014 from the Chapel of the Funeral Home, at 1 :00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Soldiers' Memorial Hospital in Orillia may be left at the funeral home.
