Mrs. Mary Mildred Fish, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2010 at Fairfield Park, Wallaceburg, at the age of 99. Mary was born in Bristol, England and was a daughter of Ethelbert and Florence (Green) Boulton. Beloved wife of the late Norman Fish (1992). Loving mother and mother-in-law of: Jim & Jane Fish of St. Thomas, Carol VanBoxtel (Paul) of London, Margot Fish of Toronto, Bette Hart, and Vicky (Mike) Davis. Sadly missed by 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers: Leslie, Bert, Bernard, John, Ted, her sisters: Stella, Ellen, Francis, Joyce and a brother-in-law, Bill Hart (2008). Mary graduated from St. Joseph's school of nursing in 1933. She worked for Dr. Tiffin, travelling to homes to probide health care and started to work at Sydenham District Hospital when it was opened til her retirement in 1976. Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 from 7-9pm with parish prayers at 7:30pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 14, 2010, from Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Wallaceburg, at 10:30 am, with Fr. Mike Ryan, Celebrant. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, "Sydenham Campus", Wallaceburg may be left at the funeral home.
