Obituary

Mr. Martin Joseph Le Blanc, a Korean Veteran, resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 13, 2017 at C.K.H.A. Sydenham Campus in Wallaceburg, at the age of 83.

Born in Québec to the late Alexix and Célestine (Doiron) Le Blanc. Loving husband of Marielle (Gallant) Le Blanc for 62 years.

Sadly missed by his children, Suzanne, Manon (Gerald ), Danielle (Walt), Steve (Lori), Eric (Michelle), his grandchildren Sébastien, Mélanie, Chris, Jennie, Joel, Jeremy, Jordan, Aaron, Mandi, Drew, Mason, Emma, Ahsha and his great-grand children Lokï, Lyrïk, Fynn, Jasper, Landon, Egan, Isaac, Jacob, Amos, Otto, Zeek, Avery, Asher, Gloria, Layla, surviving sister Julie (Noël) and by many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased brothers and sisters: Fred, Roméo, Guy, Alphonse, Marcel, Albert, le petit Martin, Germaine, Bertha, Donia, Marthe.

The family would like to thank Dr. Robert Mayo and his Palliative Care Team, the Wallaceburg Hospital staff (C.K.H.A. Sydenham Campus), C.C.A.C., Bayshore HealthCare, CarePartners, Wallaceburg Legion, Branch 18 and family and friends who showed love, care and compassion for Martin and his family during this difficult time. Special thanks to Amber and Jane.

Following Martin's wishes, cremation has taken place.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at 3 pm at the Wallaceburg Legion, Branch 18, at 52 Margaret Avenue. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Wallaceburg Animal Shelter, Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer's Association or the Wallaceburg Legion Branch 18, may be left at the Nicholls Funeral Home or the Legion Branch 18 in Wallaceburg.
