Mrs. Martha Tiffin, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully with her husband, sister and brother-in-law beside her. She adapted to the limitations her previous illness imposed on her with a acceptance and strength few of us could imagine. She passed away on Monday, January 18th, 2010 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus , Chatham at the age of 67 years. She was the daughter of Beulah (Koehler) and Leonard Hopkins. Beloved wife of Warren Tiffin. Loving sister Jane & Bruce Ravensdale. Kind sister-in-law of: Arlyn Phenix, Richard Tiffin, Mary Gaye Shepley, Susan Saunders and Jennifer Burke. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother-in-law, Terrance Tiffin and a sister-in-law, Patty Smith. Mrs. Martha Diane Tiffin rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg until Friday, January 22, 2010 when a Memorial Service was held, in the chapel of the funeral home, at 11am, with Rev. Len Myers, Officiant. Rick Shepley and Daryl Phenix did the readings and Bruce Ravensdale and John Mathany offered eulogies as a tribute to Martha. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home. As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in the Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Martha Tiffin. Online condolences may be left at ericfnichollsfuneralhome.com.
