Mrs. Marjorie Simon , a resident of Wallaceburg , passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, in Chatham , at the age of 87.

Marjorie was born in Wallaceburg and was a daughter of the late James and Eleanor ( Lawrence ) Garnett.

Beloved wife of the late Gabor Simon (2010).

Loving mother of Victoria Rublik, Paul (Monica) Seys and Mary Josephine Hollingsworth.

Sadly missed by 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her grandson, Aaron Rublik, her brothers Lloyd , Earl , Nelson, George, Donald and her sisters Anne Hajek, Betty Swain and Marion Garnett.

The late Marjorie Simon rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg .

Cremation will take place.

A Graveside Service will be held July 15, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg, Ontario.

As an expression of sympathy , donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice may be left at the funeral home.

As a living memorial , a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest i n memory of Marjorie Simon .
