Mrs. Marjorie Foster, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Sunday June 11, 2017, surrounded by her family, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus, at the age of 84.
Marjorie was a daughter of the late Joe and Caroline (Neve) Bogaart.
Beloved wife of the late Bernard Foster (2002).
Dear mother of Debbie (Remi) Foulon, Mike (Val) Foster, Lisa (Kevin) Babcock, Lee (Nancy) Foster and the late Joey Foster (1965).
Sadly missed by her grandchildren Ryan, Brent, Eric, Troy, Jonathan, Brianne, Owen and Emily and her great grandchildren Gavin, Emmett, Vivienne, Lucas, Zachary, Tristan, Kendall, Ryland, Cuyler, Hayden and Harlow.
Kind sister and sister-in-law of Rose (Stan) Flynn, Ursula Foster and Helen Vynckier.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by a grandson Jeremy Foulon, her brothers Anthony (the late Jean), Peter, sister-in-law Theresa Guertin and brothers-in-law Francis Foster, Bill Guertin and George Vynckier.
Marjorie was a member of the Catholic Women's League for many years.
Following Marjorie's wishes, cremation will take place.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Wallaceburg, on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the Funeral Mass being celebrated at 1:00 p.m. following visitation at the church.
Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice may be left at the funeral home.
