Mrs. Marie Green, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away suddenly at Fairfield Park, in Wallaceburg at the age of 89 years. Daughter of the late Fred and Theresa (Reedy) McEvoy. Beloved wife of the late Ernie Green (1988). Loving mother of Bill (Liz) Green, Valerie Park, Vivian (Frank) Jardine, Bryan (Colleen) Green, Kevin (Becky) Green, Christine (Ollie Hill) White, Carl Green and Charlie (Lori) Green. Sadly missed by 27 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Kind sister and sister-in-law of John (Virginia) McEvoy, Betty Reek, Patrick (Mildred) McEvoy, Verna McEvoy and Florence McEvoy. Predeceased by her brothers Dan McEvoy and Tom McEvoy, her sisters Agnes (the late Ron) Bradd, Catherine (the late Ernie) Myers and a brother-in-law Ted Reek. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home (639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg 519-627-2861). Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. CWL prayers Tuesday at 3:30pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 from Holy Family Church at 10:30am. Interment in Riverview Cemetery.
