Mrs. Marguerite Lauwereys, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, in Windsor, at the age of 75 years. Marguerite was born in Dover Township and was a daughter of the late George and Marguerite (Rose) Rabideau. Beloved wife of the late George Lauwereys (1994). Loving mother of Karen (Brian) Armitage, Melody Lauwereys, Darlene Lauwereys, Denise Guthrie, Gregory (friend Pat) Lauwereys, Patrick (Cindy) Lauwereys and the late Mark Lauwereys (1969). Loving grandmother of Nicole, Mark, Kelly, Jason, Lynn, Christina, Patrick, Matthew, Mackenzie, Mitchell, Sarah and Dan and 16 great grandchildren. Kind sister of Clarice, Evelyn, Geraldine, Reg and Eleanor. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Wilfred, Elmer, Floyd, George Jr., Gregory, Marie, Rita, Josephine and Mildred.. Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from Holy Family Church at 11:00 am with Fr. Jacek Kokosa, Celebrant. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Charity of Your Choice may be left at the funeral home.
