Mrs. Margaret Mary Belanger, a long time resident of Port Lambton, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2011 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, "Sydenham Campus", Wallaceburg, at the age of 91½ years. She was born in Manchester, England and was a daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Byrne) Densley. Beloved wife of the late Edgar Belanger. Loving mother and mother-in-law of: Yvonne (Wayne) Brady, Joan (Glen) Brown, Harry (Helen) Belanger, Mickey (Gary) Ayotte, John (Pat) Belanger and predeceased by an infant child. Dear grandmother of Jim, Colleen, Jason, Cristin, Wendy, Keith, Ron, Laura, Thomas, Erin, Ryan, Sarah, Steven, Ian and Luke. Dear great grandmother of Boe, Colton, Winston, Bailey, Mason, Alyssa, Jesse, Hailee, Soma, Kaedri and Violet. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and England. Predeceased by her sister Winnifred (and the late Hughie) McNally. The late Margaret Belanger is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 3, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 4, 2011 at 10:30am from Sacred Heart Church, in Port Lambton. Interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Sacred Heart Church Roof Fund may be left at the funeral home.
