Mrs. Madeline Hofmans a resident of Wallaceburg passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Chatham-Kent Hospice at the age of 83 years . Daughter of the late Daniel and Gabrielle (Six) VandenBroucke. Beloved wife of the late Andre "Huffy" Hofmans. Dear mother and mother-in-law of Diane (Dan) Johnston and Mary Ann (Gary) Labadie. Cherished grandmother of Nicole, Crissy, Melanie and great grandmother of Brady, Blake, Ethan, Eli, Trevor and Ashley. Predeceased by her sister Margaret. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The late Madeline Hofmans is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Friends will be received o n Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 2-5 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday , May 23, 2016 from Our Lady of Help Church at 11am. Cremation will follow and the Interment of ashes will be in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy , donations to Chatham-Kent Hospice may be left at the funeral home.
