Mrs Linda Labadie a longtime resident, of Wallaceburg, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016, at the CKHA "Chatham Campus" in Chatham, at the age of 66 years. She was born in Chatham, Ontario and was a daughter of the late Alta (nee Marlatt) Miller and step daughter of the late Don Miller. Beloved wife of Ron Labadie. Dear mother of Don (Ricki) Thompson, Carrie Thompson and step mother of Mark (Ann Marie) Labadie, Tim (Carolyn) Labadie, Mike (Tanya) Labadie and Aimee (Jon) Watson. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Skylar, Jayden and step grandchildren Corey, Sarah, Ryan and Amanda. Kind sister of Pat (Jack) Garrett and Ken (Charlene) Proudy. Predeceased by her sister Betty Lou and her brothers Donald Proudy and William Proudy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The late Linda Labadie is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Cremation has taken place and visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.. Interment of the ashes will take place on a later date. As an expression of sympathy , donations to the Salvation Army may b e left at the funeral home.
