Mr. Leon Vermast, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 72. Leon was a son of the late Camile and Margaret (Van Den Brocke) Vermast. Beloved husband of Rosemary (Toulouse) Vermast. Loving father and father-in-law of Dan & Connie Vermast, Jeff & Louisa Vermast, Tina & Dave Authier, Laurie Gustin and the late Lisa Vermast (2005). Sadly missed by six grandchildren. Kind brother of Robert Vermast, Elaine (Reg) Hayward and Mike (Susan) Vermast. Predeceased by a brother, Brian Vermast. At Leon's request, cremation will take place with a private family service at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Cancer Research or the Charity of Your Choice may be left at the funeral home.
