Lee Van
Landeghem
Feb 12, 1971 — Jun 24, 2025
It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the passing of Lee Richard Van Landeghem, a truly one-of-a-kind man whose spirit of adventure and love of life left a lasting mark on everyone lucky enough to know him. He passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at the age of 54 years.
He was born on February 12, 1971 to Eleanor (Johnston) Van Landeghem and the late Barry Van Landeghem (2022).
He was the loving husband of Lynnette Van Landeghem and devoted father to their three sons Taylor, Ty and Tate.
Fun loving brother of Randy Van Landeghem and the best uncle to Sarandon and Jamieson Van Landeghem.
Lee had a need for speed and a heart full of horsepower. Whether he was plowing through snowy trails on a sled or riding into the wind on his motorcycle, he was truly in his element. The roar of an engine and the wide-open road (or snow covered terrain) were more than hobbies, they were how he connected to life. He was fearless as he was kind, tackling everything with grit and determination and a smile that would warm the coldest day. He was quick witted, lighting up a room with his bold comments and unforgettable humour. Lee will be missed by family and friends from far and wide. We are all better for having been a part of his amazing and wild life.
Ride free Lee, the trail will not be the same without you.
The late Lee Van Landeghem rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Following his wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 2-5 p.m. at Par 72 (400 Arnold St, Wallaceburg, ON N8A 3P5).
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Charity of Your Choice may be left at the funeral home.
