Mrs. Julia (Vuylsteke) Joyce-De Moor, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, "Sydenham Campus", in Wallaceburg, at the age of 91. Julia was born in Belgium and was a daughter of the late Maurice and Germaine (Foulon) Vuylsteke. Beloved wife of the late Frank De Moor (2009) and her first husband, Clayton Joyce (1987). Loving mother of Peggy (Ray) Barnes of Saskatchewan, Ernie (Dorothy) Joyce of Angus and Karen Joyce-Jay of Chatham. Sadly missed by her grandchildren: Adam (Shirley), Eric (Susan), Angie (Adam), Clayton and her great grandchildren: Melanie, Grayson, Hunter, Riley, Skylar and Desiree. Kind sister of Luella Bourhis of Windsor. The late Julia De Moor is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Cremation will take place with a Funeral Mass to follow on Saturday, May 7, 2011, at 1pm, from Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Wallaceburg. Interment of ashes will be in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Chatham-Kent Humane Society may be left at the funeral home.
