Mr. Jose Riquinha , a resident of Wallaceburg , passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016 at Fairfield Park, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 86 years .

A son of the late António Furtada Riquinha and Maria de Estrêla.

Beloved husband of Eduarda (D a Costa) Riquinha.

Loving father of Ted (Patti) Riquinha and Liz (Steve) Bujaki.

Sadly missed by his grandchildren Josh, Lindsay, Adam and Justin.

Jose has been a resident of Wallaceburg since January, 1970 and worked for Benn Iron Foundry for 25 years. He was a long time parishioner of Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Wallaceburg.

Friends and family will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 3-6 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday , November 12, 2016 from Our Lady Help of Christians Church , at 2 :00 p . m .

Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg, Ontario.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home.

As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Jose Riquinha .
