Obituary

Mr. John Knazook, a resident of Dresden and formerly of Wallaceburg, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus, in Chatham, at the age of 93.

John was born in Wallaceburg and was a son of the late William and Helen (Huwen) Knazook.
Sadly missed by long time companion Lilian Currah and her family.
Kind brother of Mary Knazook, Annie (Knazook) Hofmans and Mike (the late Harriet) Knazook.
Also survived by nephews & niece, Larry Knazook, Florent Hofmans, Michele Brent, Garry Knazook and extended family, especially Debbie Holmes.
Predeceased by his first wife Doris (nee Murphy) and his second wife Evelyn (nee Wellman).
John loved sports, was a drummer in a band for 40 years, painted houses for many years, worked for the Municipality for over forty years and for H.J Heinz for over 10 years.

The late John Knazook rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018.
Funeral Services will be held from the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018.
Interment will follow in Mayhew Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville, Ontario.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #18 Wallaceburg may be left at the funeral home.
