Mrs. Joan Pauline Skoreyko, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at the age of 75 years. Joan was born in Barry's Bay, Ontario and was a daughter of the late Henry and Ann (Borutski) Maika. Beloved wife of Joachim Skoreyko. Loving mother of Morietta (Mark) Parsons, Kim (Kristine) Bayley and Christine (Keith McCrae) Rainville. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Brian Parsons, Samantha Parsons and Holly (Jimmy Martin) Rainville. The late Joan Skoreyko rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Cremation has taken place with a Memorial Service to be held at a later date.
