Mrs. Joan Charron-Barnier, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at the age of 87 years. She was a daughter of the late Rose (Hyatt) and John Wills. Beloved wife of the late Art Charron and predeceased by her best friend and companion Joe Barnier. Loving mother of Brent (Nancy) Charron, William "Smokey" (Carol) Charron, Ted (Pat) Charron, Darrell (Charlotte) Charron and "Todd" Jeffrey (Marybell) Charron. Sadly missed by 22 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Kind sister and sister-in-law of Doris Burns, Pauline (Paul) Wright and Peggy Wills. Predeceased by her son Christopher, a grandson Donald, her sisters Lillian, Rosa, Vivian and her brothers Jack, Dean and Bill. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 11 am at the funeral home. Cremation will follow. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Muscular Dystrophy Association may be left at the funeral home.
