Mrs. Jennette "Jean" Ruth Shardlow, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus, in Chatham, at the age of 87.

Jennette was born in Ontario and was a daughter of the late Bill and Ruth McLain.

Beloved wife of the late Tom Shardlow (2006) and Robert Roose (1984).

Loving mother of Larry Roose of Michigan, Angela (Dave) Randall of Wallaceburg and the late Susanne Roose (2019).

Sadly missed by her grandchildren Chris, Pat, Heather (Jeff), Mandy, Jenn (Tyler) and Melissa (Jeremy) and her great grandchildren Jesse, Nicole, Zach, Jacob, Cameron, Connor, Cadence, Chloe and Connely.

Kind sister of Angus (Gwen), John (Debbie) and Francis (Clarence).

Predeceased by her brothers Bill, David, Jim, Mac and Bob.

The late Jean Shardlow rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.

Following her wishes, cremation has taken place.

A private family interment of ashes will take place at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Children's Hospital in London may be left at the funeral home.
