Obituary

Mr. Jim Van Damme, a resident of R.R. #2 Port Lambton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Friday, March 4, 2011, in London, at the age of 61 years. Dear son of: Jacqueline (Everaert) (Van Damme) Regnier and the late Joseph Van Damme (1979). Beloved husband of Kim (Martin) Van Damme. Loving father of: Joe Van Damme, Sharyn (Chris Di Ubaldo) Van Damme and Laura (Brad De Wolf) Van Damme. Kind brother of Loretta (Ron) Riedl, Brenda (Bill) Dawson, Jeff (Janet) Van Damme, Debbie Farlow, Cindy (Doug) Babbitt, Christine (Wes) Palimaka, and brother-in-law of Debbie (Randy) Crowder, Laurie (Rob) Dalgety and Bob (Deb) Conliffe. Son-in-law of Lorraine Conliffe and Dennis (Wendy) Martin. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Friends and family will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, 519-627-2861, on Monday, March 7, 2011 from 7-9 pm and Tuesday, March 8, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Parish Prayers will be Tuesday at 3:30 pm from the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 2pm, from Our Lady Help of Christians Church. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the London Health Science Centre would be appreciated.
