Mr. Hugh Clement McCrae, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away very suddenly on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband of Marian (Lewis) McCrae. Dear father of Kelly (Sam) Taylor, Keith (Christine) McCrae and step father of Darryl Webster and Jeff (Christi) Webster. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Nick, Josh, Holly, Kasey and Avery. Kind brother of Jack (Catherine) McCrae, Garold (Rose) McCrae and Patricia Forest. Brother-in-law of Ann McCrae. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his best friend Mandy. Son of the late Nelson and Florence (Redmond) McCrae. Predeceased by his brothers Leonard, Alec, Percy and his sisters Lillian, Mary, Joyce and Violet. Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home (639 Elgin St, Wallaceburg, 519 - 627 - 2861) on Monday, March 21, 2011 from 7-9 pm and Tuesday March 22, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Royal Canadian Legion Service will be held at 6:45 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 11 am at the funeral home.
