Hortense "Honey" Dawe. Born in Cleveland, Ohio. Honey grew up in Wallaceburg, Ontario with her loving parents, the late Bert and Clara Crothers. Honey spent her life surrounded by flowers. Growing up in greenhouses, she later attended Bright's Floral Design School in Chicago, Illinois. Beloved wife for 51 years of the late Robert "Bob" Dawe. Together, they owned and operated Flowers by Crothers and worked side by side until retirement in 1999. She will be forever missed by her children Penny (Peter) Roose and Sandy (Pete) Vande Velde. Loving grandmother of Heather, Mandy and Eric and great grandmother of Zachary and Jacob. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 30, 2012 from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 11 am from the funeral home. Interment in Riverview Cemetery.
